Double Price Day - No Comment from Authorities

Market update for August 30st GMT/UDT

by Nanakins

When the market opened at midnight GMT, I prepared a post. Sometime between 2 and 3 hours later, the market prices changed, and I ripped that report up and went to bed! We've never seen anything like that before, and the Market Officials have offered no explanation. It's business as usual for them while the rest of us scratch our heads in bewilderment.

Across the Tiny Kingdom, it was much the same story, after market prices that were stuck in place for more than 4 days - it suddenly changed in the middle of the Market Business Day! And the Red Ink List, which had only one little entry on it - is back in business, much to the dismay of merchants everywhere.

Lumber and Woven Fur prices shot up like a geyser, lumber more so, with a very high price. Stones, Rocks, and Fur are below average, and everything else is average-ish.

Here's how the prices chalk up until the stroke of midnight GMT/UDT (give or take a few hours, evidently...):

Today's Market Price Board
Price per 1,000Buying Position
Rock470Bit below average
Stones2,070Bit below average
Wood750Bit above Average
Lumber8,550Very high
Fur640Below average
